Twenty-five years ago, a bold vision took shape: a world where every child can unlock their full potential through education. That vision became Room to Read — and thanks to our global community of dedicated supporters, we’ve reached over 45 million children across 28 countries.
By focusing on literacy and gender equality in education, Room to Read transforms the lives of children in low-income communities. We work hand in hand with local partners, communities, and governments to help young learners build strong reading skills, develop a love for books, and support girls to complete secondary school with the life skills they need to succeed.
Together, we’ve proven that ending the global learning crisis is possible — and we’re just getting started.
