Support Room to Read by donating on National Proofreading Day and International Women's Day!
On Friday, March 8, 2024, we celebrate both National Proofreading Day (U.S.) and International Women's Day! In honor of these occasions, QuillBot, LanguageTool and Scribbr have joined forces to organize a fundraising campaign for Room to Read.
📚 Why Room to read?
Your donations will directly benefit Room to Read, an organization closely aligned with the missions of QuillBot, Scribbr and LanguageTool. While our focus is on providing students and professionals with the necessary tools for successful writing, we recognize the unfortunate reality that many girls and women still lack access to education in general. That's why we've chosen to support Room to Read's vital work in promoting literacy and education for girls worldwide.
🎁 Scribbr & LanguageTool's contribution
On National Proofreading Day and International Women's Day, Scribbr will donate €10.00 for every Proofreading & Editing assignment received, while LanguageTool will make a significant contribution of €1000 to Room to Read.
In addition, Scribbr will help you spread your appreciation by sending the (paperless) cards.

In return for your donation, you can decide to send a (paperless) card of appreciation to a person of your choice. All you have to do is fill in this form, and we will make sure that your card is sent! 💌

💪 What can Room to Read do with our donations?
€10 brings 10 new books to a classroom.
€25 fills an entire bookshelf.
€50 teaches a child how to read for one year.
€100 gives one girl a year of confidence-building life skills education.
€300 keeps her in secondary school with a supportive mentor for an entire year.
Why your help matters
We want to ensure every child has access to a high-quality education, with appropriate grade-level texts, a library budding with books, and a safe classroom with teachers helping them resist pressure to drop out for work or marriage. We're creating world change that helps low-income communities break the cycle of poverty by improving literacy rates and getting one step closer to graduation day.
