Room to Read envisions a world in which all children can pursue a quality education that enables them to reach their full potential and contribute to their communities and the world.

Reading and books have always been a huge part of my life, and I can't even imagine a life without them. I am very lucky to have access to millions of books without even leaving my house if I wanted to. Last year I set myself a goal to read at least 50 books a year - I managed 52 (counting audiobooks as well) which is a book a week. This year my goal is to top that. This year I will also pledge to donate £2 to Room to Read for every book I read so that as many children around the world has the opportunity to learn to read and have access to books in their own language.
