I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be running the Tokyo Marathon this year, not just for the challenge but for a cause that’s close to my heart—supporting Room to Read, a charity that transforms lives through education.

Living in the Philippines for over a decade, I’ve seen firsthand how access to quality education can be a game-changer, especially for children who face barriers to learning. Room to Read has been making a real impact here, creating opportunities for kids to discover the power of literacy and the doors it can open.

Through this marathon, I hope to raise funds to give more children the chance to learn, dream, and achieve their potential. Every step I take on the streets of Tokyo will be fueled by the belief that education can break the cycle of poverty and create brighter futures.
