I'd like to buy the world a book
I grew up in a pile of books provided by my parents, my teachers, and my library. I would not be where I am today without the education and privilege I lucked into, and I'd like to help provide that opportunity to others though Room to Read.
Now all grown up, I'm a programmer by day, landscape photographer by night (or, more accurately, weekend) based in the great Pacific Northwest. Inspired by Min Zhong (the team captain over at ArtForEdu), I'm also donating proceeds of my artwork to the campaign. That leaves you with three choices, generous stranger:

We want to ensure every child has access to a high-quality education, with appropriate grade-level texts, a library budding with books, and a safe classroom with teachers helping them resist pressure to drop out for work or marriage. We're creating world change that helps historically low-income communities break the cycle of poverty by improving literacy rates and ensuring students get one step closer to graduation day and the lives they choose for themselves.
