Room to Read Summer Reading Challenge
Hello Families,
We’re thrilled to invite you to join the Room to Read Summer Reading Challenge which encourages children, teens and entire families to read and raise funds for Room to Read!
Why Join the Summer Reading Challenge?
We all want kids to read over the summer break! Beyond the sheer joy of reading, the Summer Reading Challenge provides additional incentive…the opportunity to help others AND potential to win great prizes! This year, funds raised will support Room to Read’s Fill Every Shelf Campaign, providing more books to schools and children in their native languages. For every CHF/$ 25 raised, kids get an additional raffle ticket entered to increase their chances of winning amazing prizes including an Apple AirPod Max, gift certificates and more!

Fun Fact: Room to Read publishes books in 56 different languages. Every CHF/$ 1 donated allows us to produce and distribute a book to a child in need.
Why your help matters
We want to ensure every child has access to a high-quality education, with appropriate grade-level texts, a library budding with books, and a safe classroom with teachers helping them resist pressure to drop out for work or marriage. We're creating world change that helps low-income communities break the cycle of poverty by improving literacy rates and getting one step closer to graduation day.
