Why this cause is important to me:

I’m first generation Vietnamese woman and have been fortunate to have a successful career as an academician and physician. Reading and learning was such an important part of my childhood. I spent whole days in the local library reading! I strongly feel this helped me understand people, the world, and helped me develop professionally.  

Why Room to Read? 

When the opportunity to participate in RTR arose, I knew this was a meaningful effort and wanted to give back and pitch in. The goals of RTR will help so many other young women! I hope to introduce many others to RTR so they can understand how much they can help young women and have an impact on their lives.
