I’m fundraising for Room to Read because I believe that World Change Starts with Educated Children®.

Through my experience of tutoring a young women living in Afghanistan who has no access to formal education, I have learned the neccesity for equal high quality education for all. Her dedication, curiosity, and resilience inspire me every day, and they remind me why organizations like Room to Read are so important. Room to Read's focus on literacy and gender equality in education resonates with me, as I understand that education is not just about learning facts, but about empowering individuals to think critically, explore their potential, and pursue their dreams.
