In March 2025, BlackRock Runners will be participating in the Tokyo Marathon. Please support them in reaching their collective fundraising goal of US$16,000 (which includes 1:1 BlackRock matching). 

This fundraising effort will contribute to Room to Read's 2025 Tokyo Marathon initiative, which aims to secure quality education for 8,000 young learners and girls from historically underserved communities.

Room to Read envisions a world in which all children can pursue a quality education that enables them to reach their full potential and contribute to their communities and the world.

By focusing on literacy and gender equality in education, Room to Read transforms the lives of millions of children in low-income communities. Working in collaboration with local communities, partner organizations and governments, they help primary school children develop literacy skills and a habit of reading, and support girls to complete secondary school with the relevant life skills to succeed in school and beyond.
